The highlight of the SuMa hotel is its location. Close to many restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. Excellent for staying without needing to use transport.Total disaster ! Misleading advertising. The photos do not show the real state as a very poor restoration. The elevator doesn't work well, it hangs, the cold bar doesn't work, I made a call to the reception notifying them: they told me that they would solve it for me and they haven't done it so far. You call the reception 5 times to be attended to. They don't even give you a spoon. It does not have a cafeteria. I requested that I have an intervention. Twice the night shift who gave me the ok and let me not worry, anyway. . I returned at 7.20 advising that I would not have breakfast downstairs and how it would come with the treatment intervention if they could bring me breakfast up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ITThe hotel is well located in a fairly quiet neighborhood and folks at the desk are welcoming willing to help. Note that if you book through Booking any changes to your stay will have to go through the same site. We were for instance not able to extend the stay by speaking directly to the front desk.The rooms are nice, the bathroom is okay, but with small water/paint imperfections. The main problem is that you hear sound from the street, from your neighbor and from the corridor way more than you would like...The breakfast is good but there are plenty of options from a small walking distance.Great location, the staff is super friendly and they try to help you all the time. It is great for families, I totally recommend it.The hotel has a good location, but the room was disappointing. The bathroom is tiny and has almost no room to place towels, clothes and toiletry bags. The elevator is also very small and can fit only two or at most three people.Their breakfast was satisfactory but could use more variety.Terrible experience, the room is fine in size, but the bed is small and in really bad condition. The bedding is of very low quality. The room faces the street which has a very thick and dirty curtain with a lot of dust. Finally you won’t be able to sleep due to the constant noise from the trucks during the night.Don’t stay at this place.Never come back again. This was the worst staying in our life! In this Hotel nothing works. This old guy with glasses is a absolutely lier and incompetent. He Trick us with the credit card.Great people, place was recently renovated but could use a few finishing touches. Breakfast excellent but expensive.Good location, but worn out and old, staff is friendly. Good cafes nearby, so skip breakfast and take it elsewhere.Bathrooms are very tiny and complicated to maneuver in. For larger persons, can be complicated to get in the bath tube 🙂WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! We arrived at 2 in the night to the hotel and they told us that they over booked the hotel and there was no room for us! (And other 5 families) We had a confirmed booking at Booking.com!The front door guy was super rude! He started yelling at us and trying to quick send us away on a taxi at 2am! Ridiculous!!Extremely poor hotel. Bathroom towel rack and soap dish broken. roller blind in the room torn . Was left with the taps in my hand when I turned on the shower. You need to climb into the bath to shower.no bath mat so you can slip very easy. Breakfast is hardly worth mentioning.i did not book this hotel as it was via my work booking but they will be informed.The positives: Great location on a quiet street a short walk to the vibrant bars, restaurants and sights of this bustling city. Room was comfortable and well maintained. The negatives: Limited support from the front desk. Minor infrastructure issues failed to be fixed. Not always someone who speaks English at the desk. Bottom line: a nice place in a wonderful location.I will never stay in this hotel again, the breakfast was bad, the bed so hard, the elevators a pain to go up and down, they will get stuck between floors...the staff will never help you with suitcases, the only thing is location RECOLETA, (but next time I will rent the apartments across the street 3 bedrooms) and full breakfast included. Staff are not competent at all...
